Associate Product Marketing Manager & UX Designer

ARC is a B2B device management kiosk product and accompanying web portal created by ChargeItSpot.

I’ve worked on the following as a UX Designer and Product Marketing Manager at ChargeItSpot:
–Company Website Redesign
–Kiosk Manufacturing Test Workflow
–Client Portal Login Page Redesign

2024 ARC by ChargeItSpot Website

ChargeItSpot enlisted my help to redesign their two websites, combining them into one that showcases their new product and business direction without leaving their flagship product or company info behind.

As the UX Designer on the project, I designed the new Information Architecture of the site, as well as the nav bar, client logo marquee, buttons, informational hover-overs, Our Leadership section, & device card.

Created in collaboration with Jeff Rubio (visual design, photography) and Khalid Alzubi (marketing, SEO)

Kiosk Manufacturing Test Workflow

The testers at our manufacturing facility need a faster, easier way to test kiosk hardware, flag parts for replacement, and replace them systematically without needing to remember all of the steps manually.

The Problem: Kiosk testing was taking too long

Testers at our manufacturer had to remember which components needed testing, navigate through random workflows to test hardware in any order they could, and flag hardware components for replacement with duct tape.

Testers were navigating an interface that was not designed for the job they were doing, with no way to track their progress.

Screens lacked hierarchy and direction, were too text-dense, and used colors indescriminately.

The new design takes the testers through a linear flow, allows them to track their progress, and reduces the use of text in favor of intuitive button and component states.

Client Portal Login

The old login screen presented us with the following opportunities:

  1. Increase contrast and readability
  2. Standardize error messages for clarity
  3. Make the screen more modern/professional
  4. Become more Mobile-friendly
